This morning, I did some chores around the apartment. When I realized what a beautiful day it was, however, I decided to go on an outdoor adventure. I packed everything I could fit into Will's old backpack and drove about an hour away into the Tennessee Mountains.
I love going on expeditions to Natchez Trace. It is always worth the drive.
I discovered a lot of new trails I had never been on before today, as well as lookout that overlooked nothing but patchwork farms and mountains until the green disappeared way off in the distance. (Wish I had taken a picture!) I felt like I was everywhere, but nowhere, at the same time.
Earlier this week, I mentioned my copy of
Wreck This Journal. I brought it along today and worked up the courage to scribble in it some. Here's a page that instructed to draw a nonstop line:
It's not a masterpiece of art or anything, but it was definitely liberating to use up some pages!
